I believe in stories well told.
I help thoughtful brands tell stories that people remember.

For more than a decade, I’ve documented people who dedicate their lives to craft and making things well.
What began in the world of independent watchmaking became something much larger.
While writing 32 Regrets: A Guide to Reclaiming Creativity, I found myself drawn less to the end-product, and more to the people behind the products. Watchmakers. Designers. Craftsmen. Founders. The common thread wasn’t what they made — it was their approach to their work: patient, intentional, and with extraordinary care.
Those conversations changed how I think about storytelling.
Too often, brands focus on features, launches, and marketing campaigns. They overlook the human beings whose curiosity, discipline, and obsession give a product meaning.
That’s the story I care about telling.
What I Do
I work with companies that build thoughtful products and meaningful experiences.
Through writing, photography, and documentary film, I help uncover the stories behind the work — connecting craftsmanship with the people that value it.
Whether the subject is an independent watchmaker, a tailor, a cycling company, a hotel, or a family-owned business, I’m interested in the same question:
Why does this exist, and why should someone care?

My Philosophy
■
We live in an increasingly digital world.
The brands people remember are the ones that feel human.
I believe that trust isn’t built through louder marketing. It’s build through honest storytelling, careful observation, and attention to detail.
Big agencies often move too quickly to notice those details.
I don’t.
I spend time with the people behind the work because that’s where the story usually lives.
“THEY SAY A RIDE DIDN'T HAPPEN UNLESS THERE ARE PHOTOS. TODD'S ABILITY TO CAPTURE THE FEEL AND TEXTURE OF A RIDE EXTENDS FAR BEYOND JUST BIKE RIDE PHOTOS. HIS IMAGES ALLOW THE VIEWER TO STEP INTO THE EXPERIENCE AND FEEL THEY WERE THERE TOO. IT TAKES A STRONG STORYTELLER TO GIVE A SENSE OF INCLUSION. TODD IS GIFTED WITH THIS ABILITY.”
